Data You Give Us Directly
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Our own servers do not retain a copy of that search. If you send a message, the information visible to us is the information in the message, which is used to respond.
Data We Gather Automatically
Hosting systems record ordinary log data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and time stamps. Those details may be reviewed in aggregate for site health and traffic patterns. Basic analytics or advertising measurement may use cookies or similar tools where enabled.
What We Do With This Data
That data supports operation, troubleshooting, audience counts, and page improvements. Visitor lists are not sold, and individual user profiles are not built.
Links to Other Websites
Pages link to county and state portals, libraries, archives, and outside search tools. Information submitted to those services is governed by their policies. Sponsored search results are supplied by an outside company and follow its handling rules.
Who Might See Your Data
Hosting and support providers may process server logs. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. Disclosure otherwise occurs only when valid legal process requires it.
How We Protect Your Data
The connection is encrypted, and logs are retained only for the purposes described above. Because visitors do not create accounts here, the service does not hold a visitor password or account profile.
Users Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Personal information from someone under 18 is not knowingly collected. Contact us if a minor has submitted information so it can be removed.
Your Data Rights
Utah's Consumer Privacy Act, Utah Code Title 13, Chapter 61, describes access, confirmation, deletion where applicable, and opt-out rights for covered controllers. Syracuse Residents Directory keeps little personal data, so a request normally involves checking the contact mailbox and relevant logs. Use the Contact page to ask. Records held by Utah, Davis County, or Syracuse offices are governed by the custodian's law and process, including Utah GRAMA, Title 63G, Chapter 2.
Updates to This Policy
